Camp 2 is a Canadian songwriting duo from Ottawa Ontario. The tracks are grounded by the familiar grit of classic Canadian rock with lyrics inspired by real places, events and shared experiences we all relate to.
Across their repertoire, Camp 2 forged their signature sound by weaving together a tapestry of gritty vocals, overdriven guitars, driving drums, melodic bass lines, acoustic piano and classic vintage synthesizer layers.
Their debut 2026 album, Fire Ban, follows a journey over distance, Canadian weather, self-reflection, quiet devastation, surrender and finally, renewal. It is a record about leaving, returning, and learning what embers still burn when you finally realize that we can’t outrun ourselves.
All instrumental and creative components of Camp 2 are real, performed and self-produced by Eric and Kevin Sheppard. No “generative AI” was used in the writing, performance, recording or production of Camp 2.
Eric and Kevin Sheppard are both off-reserve members of the Dokis First Nation in Ontario.
